Liveday is launching Payment Links – a new way for clubs to collect payment from supporters when the purchase happens before the payment.
The feature is already in use. During the Finnish ice hockey playoffs, HPK used Payment Links to handle payments from season ticket holders who followed the team match by match. Since no one knew how far the team would go in the playoffs, it wasn't possible to charge in advance. Instead, supporters paid €40 per match they attended – afterwards, via personal payment links sent directly from the Liveday platform.
800 payment links. No manual invoices. No external handling.
The club creates a payment link directly in Liveday and sends it to the recipient by email. The supporter clicks, fills in their details and pays using the methods they already know – Swish, Klarna, card or in the Finnish market MobilePay and bank transfer.
The payment is automatically registered in the sales report. No extra systems. No double entry.
• Playoffs where the number of matches is unknown in advance
• Tickets that are reserved and paid for afterwards
• Events where the club wants to confirm attendance before payment is made
Payment Links is now available to all Liveday clubs.
